• Police arrested a North Canton girl, 16, at an Akron residence on a charge of juvenile traffic offender or delinquent child. The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant and booked into the Faircrest Juvenile Attention Center.

• An employee at an East Maple Street business reported that three known suspects entered the business and attempted to take items without paying. The suspects left the scene in a gray pickup truck and an investigation is pending.

• A Canton woman, 42, was arrested on an outstanding warrant at a North Main Street location. The suspect was wanted for receiving stolen property and was transported to a local medical facility for treatment before being taken to the Stark County Jail.

• An employee at a Pittsburg Avenue business reported that a suspect removed a product from store shelves and exited without paying for the item. A warrant was issued for the suspect’s arrest.

• A North Main Street boy, 17, reported that a known person who had been staying at the apartment where he lived has stolen a large sum of money from him and fled. The victim reported the theft of $1,200, but refused to cooperate with police and no charges were filed.

• An officer responded to a call regarding an individual in need of assistance at a Wendover Circle location. The office was able to cut an opening in a screen door and gain access to a Knox Box from which medics were able to retrieve keys for the residence and enter to provide medical treatment for the elderly resident.

• A Greentown girl, 15, was arrested at a 7th Street location on a charge of unruly juvenile offenses by being habitually disobedient. The suspect was charged for an incident that occurred at Hoover High School and released to her grandfather with a signed promise to appear in court.

• A 7th Street man, 74, was reported missing after leaving home and not returning. The man’s wife reported that he is an Alzheimer’s patient who drove to the post office and did not return. An investigation is pending

• Police arrested a Massillon man, 29, at an Atlantic Boulevard location on a charge of theft without consent stemming from an incident at a Pittsburg Avenue business. The suspect was taken into custody and charged by the Stark County Sheriff’s Office.

• A Massillon woman, 20, reported that a known suspect held her down and sexually assaulted her at an Everhard Road location. After speaking to police and having evidence collected, the victim declined to cooperate and no charges were filed.

• A Hyacinth Drive man, 33, was arrested at a North Main Street location on charges of possession of drug abuse instruments and an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• An employee at a North Main Street business reported that an unknown suspect removed a lock from a door and stole property from the business. Merchandise in the amount of $3,506.37 was reported stolen and an investigation is pending.
