Both suspects were on parole.

GREEN  Summit County Sheriff's deputies have arrested two of several men accused of chasing another man into a store Sunday and beating him.

Deputies were called about 6 p.m. to a "large fight" at the Dollar Tree on Arlington Ridge after four or five men chased another man into the store, beating him until he fell unconscious, said Inspector Bill Holland of the sheriff's department.

The 27-year-old victim was treated at the scene by Green Fire Department medics, Holland said in a news release Tuesday.

The suspect fled, Holland said. Investigators were able to stop one car, which contained two men.

The car also contained two loaded handguns, one of which had been reported stolen.

The driver, identified as Denzel A. Rackley, 27, of Akron, was arrested and his passenger, identified as Dashaun J. Martin, 26, of Cleveland, also was captured.

Each was booked into the Summit County Jail on a felony charge of carrying a concealed weapon.

Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction records show Rackley is on parole, having served time for felony drug possession in Wayne County.

The prison records show Martin, who was also already wanted on warrants charging him with escape and a parole violation, is also on parole. He was released from prison last year after serving time for burglary, escape and attempted felonious assault.

The men remained in the jail early Tuesday, held pending court hearings.
