• Police arrested a North Canton girl, 16, at a Woodside Avenue residence on charges of unruly juvenile offenses and domestic violence. The girl’s guardian reported that she was being habitually disobedient.

• A Stow man, 33, was arrested and charged with theft without consent stemming from an incident at a North Main Street business. The suspect surrendered himself to North Canton police at the police station and was booked into the Stark County Jail.

• A Uniontown man, 21, reported that an unknown suspect entered his unlocked vehicle at a North Main Street location and began to drive away. The victim was able to stop the suspect before he drove out of the parking lot and the suspect was later arrested and charged with theft.

• A North Canton man was arrested at a Whipple Avenue business on a charge of disorderly conduct and public intoxication. The suspect entered the business and began arguing with employees. When police arrived, the man continued arguing with the officers despite repeated warnings and was taken into custody.

• An employee at an East Maple Street business reported that a suspect entered the store and stole $245 in food products from store shelves. When the employee pursued the suspect, the suspect dropped the stolen items and the items were recovered by the employee.

• Police arrested an East Maple Street location on charges of possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was taken into custody, issued a summons to appear in court and transported to a local hospital.

• A Boardman man, 33, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct while intoxicated causing annoyance or alarm. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• Police were dispatched to Hoover High School for a report of a domestic situation. They spoke to a staff member who told them a student had reported abuse from a parent. The student told police there had been a domestic situation at her home involving her, her siblings and her mother and said that during the dispute, her mother pushed her several times. Officers also spoke to the mother, who said the argument was a misunderstanding and that there had been no violence or threats of violence.

• Officers were called to a Sheraton Drive residence for a report of a domestic dispute. The individuals involved, a man, 22, and woman, 19, told police the dispute occurred due to scheduling and relationship conflicts and both reported no violence or threats of violence. Both individuals were given advice on how to handle such issues better, but no charges were filed.

• Police arrested a suspect accused of stealing miscellaneous items from a North Main Street business. The suspect allegedly removed merchandise with a total value of $77.69 from store shelves and exited without paying.

• An officer responded to a call regarding a dispute between two Rose Lane Street neighbors. Officers spoke to both parties, one of whom was reported to have mental health issues. The individual was later located near the location of the dispute and no charges were filed.

• Police responded to a call regarding a potential suicidal juvenile male at a 7th Street residence. Officers spoke with the reportee, the boy’s mother, and to the boy, who was angry because he felt no one in his household would listen to him. The boy was transported to a local medical facility for observation.

• A Canton woman, 45, was arrested at a North Main Street location on an outstanding warrant for theft without consent. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• Police arrested a Cleveland man, 37, on an outstanding North Canton warrant for forgery and theft. The suspect was taken into custody, transferred to the Stark County Jail and booked.

• An Akron man, 36, was arrested at a North Main Street residence on a charge of criminal damaging or endangering. The suspect was issues a summons to appear in court and released at the scene.
