World Water Day
Celebrate World Water Day 2018 in collaboration with Manchester High School and Summit Metro Parks on March 24. Students will host a variety of free water-related activities in the cafeteria of the high school from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Concurrently, Metro Parks naturalists will host two programs at Nimisila Reservoir from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
No Muffin Left Behind
The Akron Canton Regional Foodbank and Main Street Gourmet have teamed up to hold a No Muffin Left Behind at 9 a.m. The event is held at the foodbank, 350 Opportunity Parkway. Wonderful World of Owls
In partnership with the Cleveland Museum of Natural History the City of Green is hosting The Wonderful World of Owls at 7 p.m. March 28 at the Central Park Community Hall, 1755 Town Park Blvd. The program will be led by Judy Semroc, a conservation specialist with Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and will introduce attendees to the owl kingdom including "WHOOOO" you may see (and hear) in the community and the best places to look for them. Peter and Will Anderson Trio
The Peter and Will Anderson Trio will perform at 8 p.m. March 30 at BLU Jazz, 47 E. Market Street. The identical twin brothers are known as one of the most extraordinary duos in jazz. They have performed at New York City’s Jazz at Lincoln Center, DC’s Blues Alley, the New Orleans Jazz Fest and much more. The cost is $18 and $10 for students with ID at the door.
