The Jackson Township Lions Club recently celebrated the start of its 42nd Annual Rose Day with a dinner at the Jackson High School Bears Den Café. This event is the kickoff of one of the Club’s major fundraisers: offering a dozen roses for $18, delivered anywhere in Stark County on Saturday, April 7.

Guest Speaker at the Kickoff Dinner was Jackson Local Schools Secondary Curriculum Director Monica Myers, who presented a power point presentation on the school system showing it being one of the best in the state.

All members of the Jackson Township Lions Club can take orders for roses. They are long stem roses packaged for delivery to a loved one or anyone you may want to surprise on April 7. Cost per dozen is $18. Order deadline is March 21. Credit Card Sales on Visa, Master or Discover cards will be accepted. Call Larry Baylor at 330-494-4713 or Ralph Manning at 330-494-6119 for more information.
