100 greatest cartoon characters

Portage Lakes Branch Library, 4261 Manchester Road, presents A Celebration of Animation: The 100 Greatest Cartoon Characters in Television History at 2 p.m. Feb. 24. Author Marty Gitlin will entertain you with cartoon snippets while discussing such legends as Bugs Bunny, Homer Simpson and SpongeBob SquarePants. He provides insight into the characters from a historical context, tests your cartoon trivia, and explains the criteria he used to rank the best of the best. 'You're a Good Man Charlie Brown'

"You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown" will be presented at Theatre 8:15, 4740 Massillon Road.
