A winter weather advisory, effective 1 a.m. Thursday, forecasts a mix of freezing rain and sleet, with possible snow.

Plan for a slippery commute Thursday.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory  for 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday for portions of northern Ohio.

A fall back in temperatures will turn light rain into a mixture of freezing rain and sleet with possible snow overnight. Total wet snow and sleet accumulations could be up to an inch. The ice would be a "light glaze," the advisory said.

The mixture could create slippery roads, especially on bridges and overpasses, for morning commute Thursday. Be prepared for reduced visibility.
