GREEN The City of Green seeks community input for its Green Master Connectivity Plan at a public meeting on January 11 at Central Park Community Hall, 1755 Town Park Boulevard. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and a project overview by the consultant team from Environmental Design Group will be held at 6:30 p.m. The public meeting is being held to inform Green community members about the plan process and solicit feedback regarding pedestrian and biking trails in the city of Green.
Funded in part by a Connecting Communities grant provided by the Akron Metropolitan Area Transportation Plan (AMATS), the Green connectivity plan is designed to provide a vision and framework for making decisions about where and how to provide pedestrian and bicycle connections for residents to access recreational and other public areas. The plan will help city leaders identify and prioritize where and how connections should be made positioning the city to make appropriate decisions as development occurs and transportation projects are planned.
