A Summit County couple was jailed after police found them in a stolen car with meth for sale.

LAKE TWP.  Uniontown police arrested a Summit County couple in a stolen car containing an undisclosed amount of crystal meth, a digital scale, a smoking implement, a "large quantity of plastic bags" and drug-related equipment.

Police believe Michael D. Moussiaux, 29, and Brittany R. Mills, 28, neighbors who live on East Nimisilla Road, were selling meth.

The officers pulled over the car about 8:30 p.m. Monday in the 2000 block of Edison Street NW. According to Stark County Jail records, Moussiaux was driving the stolen car when police stopped it for failure to display valid license plates and stickers.

Each was jailed on charges of receiving stolen property, aggravated drug trafficking and drug paraphernalia possession. Moussiaux was additionally jailed on charges of failure to reinstate his driver's license and the license plate violation.

Moussiaux is on parole.

Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction records show he was released from prison on Aug. 5 after serving time for two counts of illegal manufacturing of meth in Summit County in 2014.

Both Moussiaux and Mills remained locked up early Tuesday, each held in lieu of $50,500 bond pending Canton Municipal Court hearings.
