• Police arrested a Uniontown boy, 16, at a North Main Street location on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was taken into custody and released at the scene with a signed promise to appear in Stark County Family Court by his father.

• A Foxfire Street NW couple was arrested and charged with endangering children after leaving their 2-year-old daughter alone in a vehicle at a North Main Street location. Security footage from the scene showed the child being left unattended inside the vehicle and the suspects, a North Canton man and woman, were taken into custody.

• Police arrested a Market Avenue North man, 23, near the intersection of Pittsburg Avenue and Woodrow Street NW on an outstanding warrant. The suspect was taken into custody and turned over to  Stark County Sheriff’s deputy.

• A North Canton boy, 16, was arrested at a Lancaster Gate residence on a charge of unruly juvenile offense by way of being habitually disobedient. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in Stark County Family Court and released to his mother.

• Police arrested a Canton man, 23 at an Atlantic Boulevard location on a charge of theft stemming from an incident at a Liberty Lane NW residence. The suspect was taken into custody and turned over to  Stark County Sheriff’s deputy.

• A Stratavon Drive boy, 16, was arrested at an East Maple Street residence on a charge of unruly juvenile offense by way of being habitually disobedient. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in Stark County Family Court and released to his mother.

• Police arrested an Apple Court boy, 17, at a North Main Street location on a charge of criminal trespass or failure to leave a property. The suspect was released to his father on the scene with a signed promise to appear in Stark County Family Court.

• A North Canton woman, 46, reported that an unknown suspect entered her garage by force and look items without consent. The victim reported the theft of a 12-pack of soda cans and a gas can with gasoline inside, with a total estimated value of $15. An investigation is pending.

• Officers responded to a call from a 48th Street woman who reported that her juvenile son was injured while staying with his father at a Reed Avenue location. The woman told police the son watched his father pour water on the boy’s cousin and when the son also poured water on his cousin, the cousin pushed him down on a concrete driveway, causing cuts on his arms and legs. The mother refused medical treatment for her son due to a medical condition and was referred to an attorney if she wished to pursue the matter legally.

• Police arrested a New Franklin man, 26, at a Beechwood Avenue location on charges of obstructing official business, failure to comply with the orders of a law enforcement officer and criminal trespass, all misdemeanors. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• Officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute at a Werstler Avenue residence and spoke with the reportee, a 34-year-old male. He explained that he and his wife are in the middle of a divorce and when his wife arrived to pick up their two sons, she advised him she needed several items from the residence. He followed her inside and an argument ensued. The man reported asking his wife to leave, but she refused and he told police there is a court order preventing her from entering the house. However, the man could not provide such an order and none was found on file. Both parties were advised of their rights regarding the residence and its property.

• Police arrested a Stow man, 43, during a traffic stop on Pittsburg Avenue on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance, all misdemeanors. The suspect was arrested, issued a summons to appear in court and released at the scene.

• An employee at a North Main Street business reported that an unknown suspect broke into the business through a locked door and accessed a room when money is kept in a safe. No money was reported stolen and an investigation is pending.

• A Hartville man, 24, was arrested near the intersection of Applegrove Street and School Avenue on charged with possession of drugs and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in Canton Municipal Court and released at the scene.

• Police arrested a Cuyahoga Falls man, 18, at a North Main Street location on a charge of possession of drugs or a controlled substance and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in Canton Municipal Court and released at the scene.
