GREEN  Food, fun and live music continues at Central Park from 5 to 11 p.m. Oct. 7 with the final concert as part of the Live After 5 series. Live After 5 is being organized and developed by the Green All Sports Booster Club (GASBC) with proceeds benefitting the organization.

Live After 5, a three-concert series, has been created to bring the community together in the heart of Green to enjoy music, food and family fun. Food vendors - including popular food trucks - sodas and adult beverages will be available for purchase. The concert will feature Invincible, a Pat Benatar Tribute band.

Invincible (formerly Bringing Benatar) is Northeast Ohio’s premier Pat Benatar tribute. Sets include chart toppers and deep cuts alike. The six-member band, based in Windham, brings the music of Pat Benatar and other 80s favorites to festivals, establishments and private gatherings all over Northeast Ohio. Invincible is being sponsored by Legends Sports Pub and Grille.

Families with younger children can once again enjoy the new Kids Korner, featuring fall festival activities. The Kids Korner will be operational from 5-8 p.m. Tickets for the Kids Korner will be available to purchase that evening.

Admission to the concert is free. Donations are encouraged and welcomed. Patrons may utilize the park’s amphitheater seating. Lawn chairs are also acceptable. Food and beverage vendors will be on site throughout the duration of the event.

The GASBC is a group of parents and community leaders whose mission is to provide support and funding to all Green High School and Green Middle School student athletes. Proceeds from Live After 5 will continue to support the needs of more than 1,000 high school and middle school athletes who make up 60 teams in 20 different sports.
