North Canton police said in a news release that four men entered the Walgreens at 6421 Market Ave. N just before 4 p.m. Friday and demanded prescription drugs.

NORTH CANTON  Police are searching for four men they say robbed Walgreens in Washington Square on Friday afternoon.

North Canton police said in a news release that four young black males entered the Walgreens at 6421 Market Ave. N just before 4 p.m. Three of the men jumped the pharmacy counter and demanded prescription drugs.

The robbers indicated they had a gun but none was seen, according to the release.

One of the men wore a red hoodie and black pants. Two others wore black shirts and black pants with their hair in dreadlocks. The fourth man wore a black hoodie and black pants. 

No other description of the men was given in the news release.

They left the store in a black Honda Pilot with Maryland license plates that was driven by a woman heading north on Market Avenue.
