The Akron Zoo is hosting its Senior Safari from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. Adults 62 and older will be admitted to the zoo for a discounted price of $6 per person. Caregivers will be admitted at a discounted price of $8 per person. Senior citizens can enjoy the entire zoo as well as informational booths highlighting senior services, live entertainment and activities. Entertainment will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. including a trivia contest with prizes. Free coffee will be available and fresh bread served from Bob Evans. More than 40 vendors will be on-hand at the event. The Akron Zoo is ADA accessible and provides wheelchairs free of charge and a limited number of electric scooters for $25 per day. Great Trail Festival
