A 35-year-old New Franklin man faces felony drug and receiving stolen property charges after authorities executed a search warrant at his home and a nearby storage unit.

The Summit County Sheriff’s Detective Bureau on Monday received information regarding the whereabouts of three stolen ATVs located at a New Franklin residence. The VIN numbers had been obliterated, according to the Sheriff's Office. Additional information led to a search warrant at home on Buddy Street in New Franklin. During the search, several items were recovered including, tools, several ounces of methamphetamine, seven firearms and approximately $6,000 in cash. 

Another search warrant was executed at a nearby storage unit. During the search, several items were recovered including two 4X4 utility vehicles, three golf carts and a trailer generator.

Timothy Williams was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamines (F-1) and Receiving Stolen Property (F-5) and was transported to the Summit County Jail.
