• Police arrested an Apple Court boy, 17, at his residence on a charge of disorderly juvenile offenses by being habitually disobedient. The suspect was released at the scene with a signed promise to appear in court by his father. 

• A Canton woman, 29, reported that a known suspect struck her in the right eye. The victim reported that the father of her child struck her, causing injury. An investigation is pending.

• A Canton man, 51, was arrested at a Whipple Avenue business on a charge of disorderly conduct by way of threatening or fighting. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in court and released at the scene.

• Police arrested a Rittman man, 54, at a Whipple Avenue store on a charge of theft by deception. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• An Ellesmere Avenue boy, 15, reported that a known suspect threatened to shoot him if he was found on the suspect’s property. The boy claimed a neighbor threatened to shoot him while he was walking home. Prosecution was declined.

• An employee at a North Canton church reported that an unknown suspect broke the lock off his trailer while it was in the church parking lot and stole the trailer, which was valued at $1,200. An investigation is pending.

• A Uniontown man, 40, was arrested during a traffic stop near the intersection of North Main Street and Orion Street on an outstanding warrant for Perry Township. The suspect was taken into custody on the warrant for assault and turned over to a Perry officer.

• An East Maple Street man, 22, reported that after riding his bike to a Market Avenue business where he worked, he parked the bike behind the business and a black male suspect rode away on it. An investigation is pending.

• A Woodrow Street man, 27, reported that an argument with a known suspect escalated to a physical conflict. Officers responded to the scene for a domestic dispute and after an investigation, arrested the suspect for domestic assault.

• A West Maple Street woman, 38, reported that an unknown suspect entered her locked vehicle while it was parked at a Valley Drive location and went through the vehicle’s contents. No items were reported missing and an investigation is pending.

• A Hartville woman reported that an unknown suspect broke into her vehicle while it was parked at a Sheraton Drive location and stole loose change from inside the vehicle. The suspect reported $5 as stolen and damage was done to the inside of her vehicle. An investigation is pending.
