JACKSON TWP.  During the regular meeting on July 27, the Jackson Local Schools Board of Education passed a resolution to keep the meal prices for the 2017-18 school year the same as last year’s prices.

The district will be adding a Premium Lunch option at the high school for $4. Menus for the Premium Lunch are still being determined.


- Accepted quarterly donations in the amount of $62,913.

- Adopted a revision to the gifted policy in compliance with new operating codes.

- Held a public hearing on rehiring retired bus driver and cafeteria monitor Cindy Endres as a part-time cafeteria monitor.

- Went into executive session to prepare for negotiations or public bargaining sessions with public employees with no action taken.
