• Officers responded to an anonymous call regarding a domestic dispute at a Rose Lane Street residence. Upon arrival, officers spoke with two individuals, a man and a woman, living together as boyfriend and girlfriend. Each told officers the same story of relationship troubles, but did not want to provide specific details. Neither reported feeling threatened and both agreed to keep to themselves for the rest of the night.

• A Canton man, 26, was arrested at an Everhard Road location on a charge of reckless operation of a motorcycle and driving under a suspended license. The suspect was arrested and issued a summons to appear in Canton Municipal Court.

• An officer responded to a report regarding a sex act involving two students at Hoover High School which occurred during the current school year. The officer investigated a possible change of unlawful sexual contact with a minor, but the involved party declined prosecution.

• Police arrested a Canton man, 63, on charges of criminal trespassing stemming from an incident at an East Maple Street location. The suspect was arrested on an outstanding warrant and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• An officer responded to a call regarding a dispute between two Church Street SW neighbors. The officer spoke with the reportee, who claimed her neighbor, with whom she shares a driveway, are always using part of her section of the driveway to park cars and turn around. She placed cinder blocks and other items as a barricade to separate her section of the driveway and reported that the neighbor had scrawled obscene graffiti on portions of their property that face her property. The neighbor was instructed to remove the graffiti and refrain from using her neighbor’s portion of the driveway.

• A Stonebridge Street NW man, 69, reported that an unknown suspect used his bank account information to create fraudulent checks. The man and his wife were notified by their bank of suspected fraudulent activity on the account and a subsequent review found that three personal checks totaling $68,650 were made and cashed. An investigation is pending.

• Police arrested a Massillon man, 40, at a Lipton Avenue location on a felony charge of disrupting public service and a misdemeanor count of criminal damaging or endangering. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• A South Main Street man, 29, reported that during a domestic dispute, a family member grabbed a hammer and attacked him with it. Multiple items in the home were destroyed during the encounter but the victim was not injured. The suspect was arrested and charged with fourth-degree domestic violence.

• An officer responded to a call regarding a domestic dispute at a Sunnyfield Road residence. Upon arriving, the officer spoke with a man identified as the boyfriend of the reportee, who claimed his girlfriend was moving out and the two argued over who would keep certain personal possessions. He told the officer he was worried his girlfriend would bring male friends to the home to take items that belonged to him. He was advised that it was a civil issue and needed to be handled accordingly.

• A Canton man, 27, was arrested near the intersection of Everhard and Salway roads and charged with driving under a suspended license and reckless operation. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in court and released at the scene.

• An officer responded to a call regarding a custody dispute at an Everhard Road location. The officer spoke with a boy, 17, who was at his girlfriend’s house with his father and didn’t want to return to his mother’s house. The father told police he would be seeking emergency custody due to a situation that occurred at the mother’s house in Perry Township. The mother produced court documentation but was told the boy could not be removed from his father’s custody at the time and both parties were apprised of their rights.

• A Pershing Avenue NE woman, 21, was charged with falsification of information to a public official, a first-degree misdemeanor. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in court and released at the scene.

• A Massillon woman, 18, was arrested at an Applegrove Street NW residence and charged with illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in court and released at the scene.

• A Beechwood Avenue woman, 44, reported that an unknown suspect threw a rock through a window at her residence. The window was broken and damage was estimated at $150. An investigation is pending.

• A North Main Street man, 20, was arrested at his residence and charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in Canton Municipal Court and released at the scene.
