More than 50 paintings by Jackson Township resident Georgia Paul MacDonald are on exhibit at First Row Centre for the Arts/Greentown Gallery through July.

The works include watercolors, acrylics, colored pencil and oil and reflect her love of nature. Among the works is “Aftermath of a February Snowstorm,” which was awarded first prize for watercolor in the 2016 May Show held by the Little Art Gallery in North Canton.

MacDonald, a graduate of McKinley High School and Ohio State University, is a retired journalist. She worked as a reporter and editor for newspapers in Ohio; Kentucky; Connecticut; Virginia; Washington, D.C., and Maryland before returning to Ohio with her husband, also a retired journalist.
