'Ringing in the Oldies'

The Harmony Ringers, a popular band specializing in the Oldies, will be performing two concerts. The first is at St. Timothy Episcopal Church, 226 Third St. SE in Massillon, starting at 3p.m. April 29. The second performance will be at Faith United Methodist Church, 300 9th St. NW, North Canton, starting at 6:30 p.m. April 30. 

Ceramics sale

May Show & Ceramics Sale at Canton Museum of Art  The Canton Ceramic Artists Guild show and sale is from 4-8 p.m. May 5 and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 6. It’s the 26th annual sale and shoppers will find handmade functional and decorative pottery at affordable prices.

Fishing derby

Jackson Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its annual fishing derby at North Park for children ages 15 and younger. Bring your own poles and bait to catch one of the many fish stocked just for this event. There will be a kids’ casting contest and big fish contest. The fun lasts 8 to 11 a.m. on May 6. Steeped in Magic

Choose from three different sizes of fairy gardens to make and take home during Steeped in Magic: Fairy Garden & Tea Takeaway at Fieldcrest Estate from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 6. There will also be a tea party going on while learning about fairy legends and lore from a fairy garden expert. Fieldcrest is at 1346 Easthill St. NE, Plain Township.
