Over the next couple weeks, residents in the Coventry Local School District will no doubt be given information that will try to persuade voters to turn down a renewal levy (no new taxes) that will appear on the May 2 ballot.

The facts are the district is doing a great job turning around its long history of financial problems and the passage of this renewal issue will help to keep a new money issue off the ballot. The long-range financial forecast is very promising and the renewal levy will provide a great assist in getting the district out of fiscal emergency.

The Coventry Local School District has wonderful students and teachers and the community should be very proud of the efforts and accomplishments of all those involved in our district. A major component of a great community is its school system and we are asking for your support this May in passing a renewal levy that is not a tax increase to residents.

Help us keep a good thing going by voting yes this May. For more information or to get your questions answered, I encourage you to contact me by phone at 330-644-8489 or e-mail myself or the treasurer at rchaboudy@coventryschools.org or Matt Muccio at mmuccio@coventryschools.org , please feel free to stop by the Lakeview administrative offices on Main Street if you would like to speak with us personally.

Thank you for your support.

Russell Chaboudy,
