GREEN  Cambria Suites, a newly constructed and contemporary lodging option for business and family travelers, opened its doors to guests on Sunday, March 30. The 108-suite hotel is located off I-77 at the Massillon Rd. exit, less than five miles from the Akron-Canton Airport. This is the first Cambria Suites hotel to open in Ohio and the fifth nationwide.

The guest suites at Cambria Suites hotels are 25 percent larger than standard hotel rooms, designed with stylish décor and organized with the modern traveler in mind. Each room has separate work and living areas with two flat-panel televisions, a CD/DVD player and an MP3 player jack. All suites and public areas of Cambria Suites hotels are smoke-free.

For the business traveler, the Cambria Suites facility offers free, wireless, high-speed internet in all rooms and throughout the building; a business center with fax, copy and printing capabilities; and more than 1,200 square feet of conference and meeting space. In the “Refresh” area guests can exercise and relax in a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor pool and hot tub.

The casual dining area, “Reflect,” serves a range of contemporary items from healthy selections to comfort foods for breakfast and dinner. Also in Reflect is a barista bar featuring Wolfgang Puck coffee, Cheesecake Factory desserts and a full-service bar.

For guests on the go, the “Refill” store offers organic snacks, freshly prepared gourmet sandwiches and salads as well as sundries.
