Irene Beebe has organized a help the Mealy family offset some of their expenses they are going through as Vince Mealy is battlling with leukemia.
Mealy, a former Springfield township trustee, was diagnosed with leukemia in 2003 at age 42 and now is in need of a bone marrow transplant.
Premier Designs Jewelry is a Christian-based company whose mission is to help those in need and Premier will donate 50 percent of the proceeds to the Mealy family.
Beebe will be canvassing the Springfield community over the next two months with fundrasier information and a catalog to view. For every purchase made, 50 percent of the profit will go to Vince and his family. Those who wish to donate without purchasing may do so. Also, with a donation of $20 or more, people will receive a complimentary “Shine, Cross” necklace from Premier to say God bless and thank you.
