Mrs. Alice L. Morgan of Green is pleased to announce the engagement of her granddaughter, Meghan L. Schell, the daughter of Ms. Jodi L. Schell of Medina, to Mathew A. Fitz, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Sandy Fitz of Medina.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Black River High School and a 2008 graduate of Cuyahoga Community College. She currently works as a photographer at a local studio.
The groom to be is a 2002 graduate of Medina High School and a 2007 graduate of Cleveland State University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. Matt currently works at the Medina City Police Department.
Matt and Meghan had a chance meeting three summers ago and, after months of dating, they fell in love. They are now inseparable, plan to spend their lives together and hope to one day start a family.
The couple got engaged on August 7, 2009 when Matt took Meghan to Huntington Beach, the site where they shared one of their first dates. Afterwards, Matt surprised Meghan with an engagement party with their close friends and family.
Matt and Meghan plan to join their lives this year with an August wedding.
