Card Party for the Manchester music
The Manchester Music Boosters will be holding a “Queen of Hearts Card Party” Tuesday, Feb. 16 at Manchester High School starting at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for presale and $7 at the door. The menu will be a loaded baked potato bar, salad, dessert and drinks.
There will be raffles for around 100 items, door prizes, food and fun. People are encouraged to bring card or a board game, and friends and family can come together for a night of fun.
Manchester High School is on 437 W. Nimisila Rd and that is only place to purchase the presale tickets. For questions, contact Heidi Boggs at 330-882-4696.
Senior cake auction
The parents of the senior class of 2010 at Manchester High School are having a cake auction at their home game on Friday, Feb. 19 against Indian Valley High School.
The cakes and their "extra goodies" will be assemble by various clubs and organizations from the Manchester Schools. Fifty percent of the procedes will go to the parents of the senior class of 2010 and the other 50 percent will go back to the club/organization that sponsored the cake. The senior class will be auctioning off cakes at the half time of the JV game and the varsity game that evening.
The JV game starts at 6 p.m. and the cakes will be on display prior to the games, so people can see the wonderous delights. There will be a professional auctioneer, Mark Otto, heading up the auction. Come for an evening of entertainment and go home with a lucious cake and goodies. The parents want to thank everyone for their continual community support of our local school district.
