Uniontown, Ohio —
It was 60 years ago, on Aug. 25, 1951,that Julia Heckman and William Pressler were united in marriage.
They were married at Grace Evangelical and Reformed Church in Uniontown, by Rev. Milton Jones.
They still attend the same church 60 years later, which is now known as Grace United Church of Christ.
Both Julia and Bill are graduates of Uniontown High School and have lived in Uniontown for most of their lives.
Their children, Andy and Jill, Steve and Beth, Paula and Marty will host a family celebration at the Desert Inn in their honor.
Julia and Bill have eight grandchildren, Christopher (Kathy), Sarah (Merlin), Pam (Rich), Ben, Amanda, Scott, David and Katie. They are great grandparents to Luke, Ava and Mya.
