Fred and Rita Haag celebrate 60th anniversary

Fred and Rita Haag will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary this month.
Fred Haag and Rita Haas were married May 15, 1945 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Firestone Park.
After serving in the Army during World War II, Fred returned home to his job at Firestone, where he met his bride, Rita. Ten months later, they were married.
Together they raised six children. They have been blessed with 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. They are awaiting the birth of a great-granddaughter in June and a great-granddaughter in July.
They will celebrate their anniversary with a family dinner.
The family writes, "To Mom and Dad, we are so blessed to have such loving and caring parents, who have taught us by example, the true meaning of love. Thank you for always being there for all of us. Happy Anniversary. Love, your children."
