The 52nd annual Sweetheart Ball and Cotillion was held March 1 and many of the 18 ladies who made their debut at the event. Local participants include Danielle Jordan Grimsley of Manchester, ; Kelsey Ann Hilbert of Manchester, ; Sarah Lynn Bee of Manchester, ; Katie Renae Gamby of Green,  Jenna Nicole Miller of Manchester,  Jocelyn Abigail Young of Manchester,  Kimberli Burton Marchion of Green,  Katie Erin McCauley of Manchester and Ashley Patricia Swartz of Green. The debutantes were selected based on their grade point average, academic achievement and community involvement.
