Portage Lakes AARP 2213 will meet May 9 at Lakeview Christian Church, 4613 S. Main St. Lunch is served at noon and the meeting begins at 1 p.m. All seniors are invited. Reservations for lunch are needed. For more information call 330-882-6019.
Coventry AARP #3820 will meet at 1:15 p.m., May 12, at the Kiwanis Club of Portage Lakes, 725 Portage Lakes Dr. The program will feature attorney Sarah Dean. Guests welcomed.
During the month of May only, the Boyd Esler Springfield Senior Center, 2491 Canfield Rd., on Mondays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunrise Massage Therapy Services will give massages, for a fee, to seniors. Call 330-733-2556 for appointments.
Warm up Portage Lakes is accepting donated yarn. The finished product goes to hundreds of organizations. Drop off yarn at the Coventry Senior Center, 335 E. Willowview Rd. Call 330-645-9089 for details.
