On June 30, 2:50 a.m., Sheriff’s Patrol Deputy Elisha Menefee observed a car northbound on Manchester Road in Coventry Township with sparks coming from the rear.

The car fled when she attempted to stop it and a large commercial-style lawn mower fell onto the roadway. She pursued the car and found it near the towpath near Carnegie Avenue.

A male was apprehneded in the car but two males fled into the woods. Responding deputies located one male while Deputy Menefee located the third male several hours later in the area.

Deputies determined a storage shed at Coventry High School was broken into and the mower, weedeaters and miscellaneous tools were stolen. Detectives recovered all the items at the suspect’s home.

Labron Yeager, 45, Gary Yeager, 49, and Torrey Burris, 35, were all arrested for breaking and entering and theft. They were booked into the Summit County Jail. Other items were recovered from the home and are believed to be stolen from other locations. Further investigation is pending.
