Heavenly Touch Maids are dedicated to cleaning.
"We don't leave until the work is done,” said owner Debbie Pickens, who has 20 years experience in the cleaning business. For three years she has been the owner of a Heavenly Touch Maids franchise, with three locations in Canal Fulton, Akron and Chagrin Falls.
They offer full spring cleaning, move-in, move-out cleaning. An average cleaning is between $70 and $90. Estimates are free. Same-day service is often available.
The employees are trained and all cleaning supplies and equipment are provided. The maids have a 75- point checklist to ensure homes are thoroughly cleaned. Satisfaction is guaranteed.
They recently started another service. They now offer senior non-medical care. This includes companionship, grocery runs, making meals and other assistance.
Heavenly Touch Maids is a member of the Better Business Bureau. Their goal is to provide a quality cleaning service that their customers can trust. Their employees are insured, bonded and background checked. Pickens believes that assurance for their customers is critical for trust.
Heavenly Touch Maids has devoted employees and loyal customers. Pickens sees the necessity for both to have a successful business.
“We need good quality workers to have that loyal customer base,” she said.
The economy has not affected the business to a large extent. The core customer base is the average family, and while many clients schedule longer times between visits, they still make allowance for the service. Pickens said customers will sacrifice elsewhere to be able to get their houses clean. With such busy lives, this gives the clients more time to spend with their families.
“We make it so they can't live without us,” she said.
