Northeast Ohioans should be careful when wishing for a White Christmas. Although it arrived a day late, last week’s snowfall dumped nearly six inches at the Akron-Canton Airport and caused a number of wrecks and flight delays.

While it has been several months since the area has experienced any major snowfalls, last week’s snow prompted many outdoor enthusiasts to get out and have some fun. From shopping, eating out, visiting family or getting ready to cross country ski, residents adapted quickly to snow-covered hills and valleys and, of course, the roads.

We were out and about looking for memorable moments in the snow after the area received a fresh coating.
