Everyone has a different time when their child transitions out of a nap. Children become extra moody and tired, especially approaching 4 or 5 pm, when they have reached their limit. They have meltdowns and temper tantrums for no apparent reason. The reason is exhaustion. Their behavior is frustrating and exhausting for a parent who can easily lose patience. To eliminate exhaustion, frustration and temper tantrums, provide your child with an every day quiet rest time. Both of you can become refreshed and ready for the rest of the day.
