A fun little battle is brewing at Jack’s Abby Brewing.
Head brewer Jack Hendler, along with assistant brewers Mike Gleason and Matt Cowen, along with Barleycorn’s owner, Daniel Eng, will be taking part in a battle of the barrels. 
Each of the four men will age Smoke & Dagger (smokey black lager) in bourbon barrels.
Each contestant will have a budget to add any ingredient or flavor into the beer. At the end of January (if the world does not end tomorrow) judges will try all of the beers to pick a winner.
The four beers will then be available to be judge by anyone who stops at the brewery and wants to try.
To keep tabs on the contest, videos will be posted on Jack’s Abby’s Facebook page. Sounds like a lot of fun.
