Guest Brewer: Lazy and tired

A couple of months ago, or more I brewed a pumpkin ale.

Its been sitting in the secondary fermentor for at least 6 weeks now. Honestly it could be longer I don’t really remember. I’ve been meaning to bottle it, but with little kids running around all the time I’ve been too tired to do it, and then its coupled with a lack of desire to clean a bunch of bottles.

I got a gift certificate to Strange Brew, and was going to buy a used keg there, but they’re expensive there compared to other home brew shops, so I passed on getting the keg for now.

However, there is a 3 day weekend coming up, and one of those days the kids won’t be around, so I have no excuse to not bottle it now. Anyone else ever had this issue when you brew a beer, and then laziness, and exhaustion just makes you not want to do the work to bottle it?
