Registration is underway for the Springfield Spartans Youth Basketball Camp 2008, set for June 9 -12 from 9 a.m. to noon at Springfield High School. The camp directors are Jack Morgan and Anthony Butch, the boys head and assocate coaches.

    The camp is designed to give young boys and girls an opportunity to work on and improve their basketball skills. The main objective of the camp is to teach young players the fundamentals of basketball and get them excited about the game.

    Campers will receive professional instruction and drills. The goal to promote the concepts of hard work, dedication and fun. The game will feature 5-on-5 games, skill stations, free throw contests, hot spots shooting competition, individual report cards, camp certificates, t-shirts and a free Springfield Spartans basketball.
