Portage Lakes, Ohio -

Portage Lakes Historical Society will meet on Thursday, May 1, 7 p.m. at Hower House for a special guided tour of the home. Hower House Director, Sylvia Johnson will conduct the private nooks and crannies tour for the members. The elegant 1871 Hower House has 28 rooms filled with three generations of Hower family treasures. The home is located at 60 Fir Hill, The University of Akron, Akron, Ohio. Refreshments served after the tour.
