The Lavender Butterfly is a unique gift shop that  opened in Hartville on June 2. The store owner is Carla Holland from North Canton. The Lavender Butterfly is located at 141 S. Prospect Building B in Historic Downtown Hartville.

Holland is very excited about this opportunity to have a business in Hartville. She has been doing crafts and floral arrangements for years and felt that this would be a prime location for her shop. Holland enjoys that her shop is so close to home. 

Hartville is a good location states Holland because of the Hartville MarketPlace and the Hartville Chocolate Factory.

“This is a neat little town,” Holland said.

The Lavender Butterfly has a gift shop upstairs and a consignment shop downstairs.

Holland sells floral arrangements, wreaths, lamps, new and used garage sale items.

Holland wants the community to be aware that she purchases used goods to sell in her shop. Some people do not have time to host garage sales. So Holland suggests customers looking to sell garage sale items may come during her business hours to offer items for Holland to purchase.

Holland makes floral arrangements and wreaths to order. Any color or type of arrangements can be made. A fountain is also available to rent for weddings. Holland points out that she is eager to make silks and live greenery for weddings and funerals as well.

The hours for The Lavender Butterfly are Mondays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
