A wallet was left behind in a school on Frank Avenue Jan. 19. When the owner returned to retrieve the wallet, it was missing along with the cash inside.

On Jan. 24, an employer notified a suspect of a debt collection and the suspect became threatening and uncooperative. The employee stated he was fearful of the suspect.

Person(s) unknown broke out a window of a car parked in the 5200 block of Dressler Road and removed a subwoofer on Jan. 24.

On that same date, a stereo was removed from a vehicle parked in the 5400 block of Whipple Ave.

Credit cards and a digital camera were reported stolen from a home party in the 7600 block of Stuhldreher St. on Jan. 23.

On Jan. 23, a Hyatt St. woman reported someone used her identity to send a package to the Ukraine. A separate charge was made in Tennessee. An investigation is pending.

On Jan. 21, Jackson Police received a report from a woman who stated she was receiving unwanted calls at her place of work. The suspect, she said, threatened her with physical harm. The suspect was informed not to contact the woman or further action would be taken. A warrant was issued for the suspect.

A victim reported a credit card had been lost or stolen in the 3700 block of Wales Ave. on Jan. 18.

On Jan. 20, police responded to a theft of a satellite stereo from a vehicle parked in the 4100 block of Belden Village Ave.

A Broadhaven man reported that while his daughter was in Miami, Florida, someone used her personal information to make a purchase at a Wal-Mart in the Miami area.

Jackson Police recovered a missing wallet in the 6900 block of Promway on Jan. 17.

A Whipple Avenue car dealership reported the theft of a truck on Jan. 20. The keys were still in the dealership and no one had permission to take the vehicle.

A television was stolen from a wholesale club on Jan. 21. A suspect took the television off the shelf and exited the store without paying. When confronted by store security, the female suspect stated she was returning the television and needed to go to her vehicle for the receipt. When she reached her vehicle, she fled the area. The theft was recorded by store security.

Sometime between Jan. 15-19, someone removed a camera from a hotel room without permission.

A Pondera St. woman reported to Jackson Police that her credit card company called her to verify purchases made on that day, Jan. 21. The victim stated she did not make the purchases. The company told her someone had removed her phone number and changed her address on the account.

Police responded to a call in the 7100 block of Celina St. in which a burglary was in progress. The victim stated person(s) unknown were striking the front door repeatedly. The front door was damaged as well as a plastic Santa.
