The Rotary Club of Lake/Green honored Blake Beatty with Student of the Month for December 2009.
Blake is in Mrs. Hudson's second grade class at Hartville Elementary.
Two words come to his teacher’s mind when she thinks of Blake: smile and caring. Blake is known for always having a smile on his face even when he is learning something very difficult in math or when he is reading a book. Blake is a very happy child who loves life and the things around him. He is the first one there to help out a fellow classmate and is always willing to help with things around the classroom.
Hudson said in her recommendation for Blake, “Our classroom is a better place because of Blake Beatty.” Blake is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joey Beatty of Uniontown.
