Leslie Foster and Joseph Cole of Canton were married June 20, 2009, at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church by Msgr. John Finnigan. Parents of the bride are Carol and Edwin Foster of Middlefield, Ohio. Parents of the bridegroom are Bonnie Cole and Frank Cole (deceased) of Green.
Michael Cole was the best man. Tracy Shoemaker was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Erin O’Toole, Ashley Sebusch and Kristin Bisco.
Groomsmen were Ryan Brightwell, Brian Leon and Ryan Mehilis.
Carly and Courtney Cottrell were flower girls. Jacob Miller was the ring bearer.
The reception was held at the University Center at Kent State (Stark).
The bride is a graduate of the University of Akron and is a Social Studies teacher at Perry Local Schools.
The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Akron and is the Superintendent of Project Rebuild High School. He is also a Canton City Councilman.
They honeymooned in the Dominican Republic.
They currently reside in Canton.
