Timothy Muckley will fill an unexpired term for James Miller on the Lake Township Zoning Commission, after a resolution at the regular Monday meeting. Muckley's term will continue from resolution through the end of the term on Jan. 23, 2011.
Trustees authorized Jason Hall Inc. to equip and decal two new police cruisers for the Uniontown Police Department for an amount not to exceed $14,000. The company will strip equipment out of old cruisers and prepare the new cruisers for the road. Trustees also authorized the purchase of mobile radios for the cruisers from B & C Communications for $3,134.20.
Four Panasonic Toughbooks were bought for police department cruisers from TAC Computer for $18,640.
A new computer was purchased for Road Superintendent Dan Kamerer from DTM Computer Services, Inc. for $3,000.
A road open permit was executed for Dominion East Ohio Gas at 2641 MacDuff Road.
At the organizational meeting Jan. 2, John Arnold was made president of the board of trustees, with Ellis Erb as vice president.
