Ten area wineries and distributors, along with many local businesses, are working together to make a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities in Stark County.

On Thursday, Jan. 21, The Arc of Stark County will be holding their 7th annual wine tasting event, Grape Possibilities, at the Canton Cultural Center. Favorite Ohio wineries, including Breitenbach, Maize Valley, Perennial Vineyards and Raven’s Glenn, will be on hand pouring all types of wines made  locally.  Distributors Heidelberg Beverage, Esber Beverage Co. and Superior Beverage Group are also going to be at the event with wines from all over the world.  Those who have attended the event previously will be excited to know that three additional wineries have signed up to participate this year – Silver Moon Winery, GRZ Vineyards and Swiss Heritage Winery.

Grape Possibilities, which will begin at 6:30 pm, is sponsored by Shearer’s Foods Inc., Questar and Exposit. Admission is $40 per person, and reservations can be made by contacting the Arc at 330- 492-5225.
