Job: General Manager at Cleats Bar and Grill

Hong long have you been the general manager at Cleat’s Bar and Grill?
I have been the general manager for one month, and a manager for nine months.

Why did you get into the business? I got into bartending in college. It was easy money. I am also a loan officer. After a few years of doing that, I came back to bartending, but am still a loan officer.

How do you handle both jobs? This is my main priority, I am the loan officer on the side.

What is the most interesting thing about the job? The people I work with. I’ve been at places where there were a lot of cliques. But everyone here is very laid back. Love the group I work with.

What is the worst part about the job?
Dealing with some of the customers. Ninety percent of the customers are cool, that other 10 perecent... yeah.

What makes Cleats different from other grill and bars? Most of the people who work here, like to work here. Customers who come here see that. This is a lot more fun than other places I’ve worked at.

What are your favorite sports teams? The Browns and Indians. I still love my New York Giants and Yankees (being from there orginally), but last year in the playoffs, I was rooting for the Indians.

What place would you like to visit?
Bari, Italy. I went to Nicci, Itally and visited my grandmother’s side of the family, but I woudl like to go back to meet my grandfather’s side.
