The Green gymnastics team took another win Jan. 20; this time against McKinley.
“The girls really shined at their meet. They made tremendous improvements from their last team score,” said Coach Teresa Rayl.
The Green girls had a team score of 124.650 beating out McKinley who scored 102.375. Green dominated most of the meet categories with girls from their team taking first through fourth place in bars, vault, floor and all around. Megan Swaney helped her team by taking first place in bars with a score of 8.25, vault with 8.175 and all around with the score of 32.775. Morgan Estes took first place for Green in beam with a score of 8.55 and floor with 8.525. She also placed second in all around with a score of 32.625.
“The parents are a wonderful asset to our team, helping with tabulating scores and other behind the scene tasks,” said Rayl.
The team hopes to see everyone at the High School Sectional meet on Feb. 20 at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School.
