Summit County Clerk of Courts Dan Horrigan recently announced the city of Green will become the new home of the county’s southern title bureau. On Feb. 1, a title bureau will open at 3333 Massillon Rd., just north of Raber Road near the National City Bank.
“When I became clerk about three years ago, we made a push for customer service,” he said. “We looked at several criteria. We needed convenient parking and easy access from the highway.”
Horrigan said his office also considered the number of households, car dealerships and other retailers when selecting a location.
“We know Green is a growing community,” said Horrigan.
Titles are not only required on cars and trucks, but also on ATVs, trailers and boats.
The title bureau also provides passports and photos.
