A 48-year-old Point Drive man was arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife at their home. Court records showed he had a previous conviction for domestic violence, making the current charge a fourth degree felony. He was booked into the Summit County Jail.


A Hyfield Avenue man told deputies that he discovered 15 of his koi fish missing from the pond in his backyard. The fish were valued at $700.


A 40-year-old Cuyahoga Falls man was charged with theft after deputies said he left a Manchester Road supermarket with $34 worth of unpaid groceries. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after a pipe was found in his pocket.


A 22-year-old Conlin Drive man was found with a glass pipe in his car during a stop on S. Arlington Road for expired plates. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and issued a summons to appear in court.


A Lemar Drive man reported 45 gallons of gasoline stolen from his parked vehicle. He also said two cans filled with gas were taken from his driveway. A similar incident was reported on E. Pace Avenue, where a man said 12 gallons of gas was siphoned from his car.
