The new Portage Lakes and surrounding girl’s fast pitch softball league, The Tri-City Crushers, started their new season with a free mini camp at the Kent State Field House. Team members from the Kent State Golden Flashes, as well as their coach, Karen Linder, spent time teaching fast pitch techniques, such as hitting, catching and throwing, with girls ranging in ages from 5-16.
