  • - Karlee Evans had games of 248 and 202 and Haley Boatwright had a 215 leading Coventry girls bowling to a win over Norton (2,289-2,023).
    - Green's Ryan Kaminski (fifth), Noah Schaub (sixth) and Kyle Higley (eighth) all placed at the 43-team Bill Dies Invitational wrestling tournament at Firestone High School. Jacob Gladwell also placed sixth for the Bulldogs at the Greater Miami Valley Tournament in Dayton.
    - Junior transfers Dominik Pizzino and Eddie Pearce combined for 35 points in their first game for Mogadore, a 70-53 win over Springfield.
    - Senior forward Landon Holl notched a career-high 19 points to lead Green to a 68-62 non-league win over Norton.
    - Coventry wrestling recorded wins over Ellet (66-6) and Buchtel (60-18) to improve to 26-2 on the season. The Comets lost just five matches in the two meets, with Zach Lake winning at 145 pounds against Ellet and 152 pounds against Buchtel.
    - Senior forward Victor Dorsey tallied a career-high 42 points in Springfield's 68-52 win over Waterloo. Dorsey also posted double-double with 27 points and 10 rebounds against Mogadore in his first game for Springfield after missing the team's first 11 games because of OHSAA eligibility issues.
    - Zac Carson (145 pounds) was the lone champion for Lake as the Blue Streaks placed fourth with 129.5 points at the Top Gun Invitational at Alliance High School.
    - Conner Wess (18 points) and Bryce Hargrove (13) paced Coventry as the Comets secured a key Portage Trail Conference road win against Kent Roosevelt.
    - Green boys bowling ran its record to 13-0 with a 2,674-1848 win over Barberton. XXX Few led the Bulldogs with a high game of 273. The Green girls also recorded a victory over the Magics, 1,883-1583.
    - Senior forward Baylen Dyrlund led Lake with 22 points and eight rebounds as the Blue Streaks won their 11th game of the season, 57-40 over Boardman.
    - Jake Hanzel won the heavyweight championship and Bobby Bowen placed third in the 106-pound weight class at the Bill Dies Memorial tournament at Firestone High School to lead the Panthers to a 13th-place finish in the 43-team field.
    - Emily Cerepak led all scorers with 23 points as Coventry moved two games above .500 with a win over Waterloo.
