Two men were jailed and two men were taken to an area hospital after a double stabbing early Wednesday morning.
David S. Mendoza, 25, and Rene S. Mendoza, 30, both of 5691 Lasater Dr., Apt. 2, were arrested at 4:12 a.m. Wednesday after the incident, Stark County Jail records said.
David Mendoza was accused of stabbing one man in the chest and Rene Mendoza was accused of stabbing another man in the left shoulder, the jail records said.
Police said the victims were taken to Mercy Medical Center for treatment. A hospital spokesperson said the victims were treated and then released.
David Mendoza was arrested at his home, and Rene Mendoza was arrested in the 4200 block of Everhard Road NW, the jail records said.
The records did not say where the stabbing occurred.
Each of the Mendozas were jailed on a felonious assault charge.
They remained in the jail early Thursday, each held in lieu of bond for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
