Steve Lamb's wife gave him the perfect Christmas present — a heated coat.

The heat is on for outdoor worker

Steve Lamb, of Massillon, works out in the elements. So when his wife presented him with his Christmas gift in December, he was happy.

But Lamb was especially thankful Monday for the present when temperatures began to dip.

The foreman for the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railway Company wrote in response to a Facebook question that his wife bought him a battery-powered heated coat. He recommends the heated coat for anyone who has to work outdoors. The coat comes with a charger, he wrote.

"The batteries only last about five hours, so I'm gonna buy another battery," Lamb wrote. "Was a great Christmas gift from my wife."
